St.
Louis, Chicago, Houston, New York, and Los Angeles, these
are just a handful of cities that Mike Faverman has performed
in during his 4 years in comedy. Mike has spent an average
of 40 weeks a year traveling the country doing what he does
best, comedy.
While
growing up in Boston, Massachusetts, Mike knew that the
constant laughter and comedic awards he received from his
fellow classmates were not a passing fluke. He remembered
watching Boston's Steve Sweeney perform at his parent's
anniversary party and after that moment he knew what he
wanted to do.
Mike
eventually booked himself on stage at a local Boston comedy
club called Dick Daugherty's Comedy Vault. That night he
fell in love with the stage and realized he needed to move
West.
Mike,
after arriving in Los Angeles in February of 1997, didn't
have any trouble finding work. Instinctively, he knew how
to break into the industry, and did so with a drive and
passion that has never let up. He hit all of the open mics
in town and eventually scored his first paid gig in San
Diego for $25. Since then there has been no stopping him.
In
November of 2003, Mike Faverman was granted the ultimate
honor for all Comedians. He was passed as a paid regular
at the Comedy Store in Hollywood. Mike now spends most of
his time in Los Angeles performing at all the clubs and
on any stage that will have him. He can be contacted directly
or through Duncan Trussell at the Comedy Store at (323)
